RELEASED PARTIES and facilities for and provides for activities such as social events, community outreach, clinics, classes, camps, and day care. Some of these involve situations, environments, or activities that may lead to illness, physical injuries, and psychological stress or damaging catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death.
I acknowledge and understand that it is my personal responsibility to make good decisions and not to participate in any Activities if I am in any of the high-risk categories as identified by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) to contract and become ill, and potentially seriously ill, from COVID_19, or to spread the coronavirus to others. Severability: The undersigned further expressly agrees that the foregoing waiver and assumption of risks agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of Texas and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

General Information
Dress Code
Coaches are prohibited from wearing jeans, shorts, tank-tops, hat/cap, tight leggings, or slippers while on the arena floor or coaching a competitor.
Following dress codes, You might have used in any of the resent Nationals Coach dress codes should be okay
ADDITIONALLY, Coach's positioning during competition should be next to the head table with their competitor approaching the coach chair in between rounds for their coaching opportunity.

We will however be using a Modified Rules version of the AAU and World Taekwondo Since we are expecting international participants .

SPARRING Rules; WTF-AAU "Modified" Modified being the operating word, ex. 3 one minute rounds with 30 second rest for color belts, 3 one minute rounds with 30 seconds rest for black belts. in all Junior divisions one point for punch to the body, 2 points for valid shot to the body, 3 points for light controlled head shots. NO, Technical points will be awarded, turns, spins etcetera. Gap and Cap rule “GAP” 12 point gap may decide the winner, for 5 and under to 11 year olds the first round will be guaranteed. Except if its deemed a mismatch.
General Information
- All Coaches must register online.
- COACH FLOOR Passes will be handled the in the following manner, Each school will be allowed ONE COACH PASS for every TEN 10 participants registered, That's (One pass for every 10 students). Additional Coach passes can be purchased each at $40 each, available onsite the day of the event.
- Coaches must wear their passes at all times on the gym floor. A coach's pass may be revoked at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
- Coach badge required for all coaches, no borrowing tags. VIP/Grandmaster badge alone is not eligible to coach.
- Hats, slippers/sandals/flip-flops, jeans, shorts, tight leggings are prohibited attire for coaches.
- Only one coach is permitted on the competition floor with one competitor.
- Coaches and competitors shall be seated and not standing at or around the ring.
- Kicking pads/targets are not permitted on the competition GYM floor.
- Assistant coaches and parents with coach badge are not permitted at the ring to help a coach, yell or cheer, MUST SIT IN COACHE'S DESIGNATED AREA must leave competition floor if not sitting in coach’s chair when match is called.
- NO PICTURES OR VIDEO allowed on the competition floor without a "MEDIA PASS". Furthermore video will not be allowed as evidence of ( score or an infraction )
- Waiting period for coaches: coach has 2 minutes to get to ring, otherwise match starts without coach.
- Late coach can only enter ring in between rounds, not during round.
- Coaches shall not enter or stand in center aisles or areas between rings, and shall remain seated, at all times, at the outer most portion of the rings on the floor or chairs closest to the walls.
- Additionally it is Coach's Responsibility to keep his'her members and parents in check and following the rules remember that no grievances or complains may be Launched by any Parent or student, Only A Coach, Master, Grandmaster may do so.
- Only ONE protest card will be available for the blue coach and one for the red coach, USE THEM WISELY.

and shin guards made of foam rubber or vinil covered, NO SOCKS TYPE GEAR ALLOWED, chest guards, mouth pc. Groin cup for males, females groin cup
recommended, head gear. All is required. Head gears must not have face shields and be in a good working order, “ no thorn cracked or any taped up equipment allowed “.No Eye glasses, Soft contacts recommended.
