🎉38 years 🎉 Offering classes, They have given us the experience to know that classes only once a week THEY DO NOT WORK, we do not offer them, because we are committed to the REAL-TRUE development of students. Taking Taekwon-Do classes only on Saturdays is not ideal for several reasons: 1. Lack of Consistency and Slow Progress - Progress in martial arts, such as Taekwon-Do, depends on regular and consistent practice. With only one class per week, it is difficult to develop and maintain skills as there is too much distance between classes.
2. Insufficient Muscle Memory - Muscle memory, which is crucial to executing movements and techniques effectively, requires frequent repetition. With only one class a week, the time between practices can cause students to forget techniques or lose precision.
3. **Lower Physical Condition** - Taekwon-Do not only teaches self-defense techniques, but also improves overall physical fitness. Practicing once a week is not enough to maintain or improve the level of endurance, strength and flexibility necessary to progress in this martial art.
4. **Less Opportunity for Corrections and Learning** - With more frequent classes, instructors have more opportunities to correct technical errors and guide students in their development. If you only attend once a week, there is less opportunity to receive feedback and improve.
5. **Loss of Motivation** - By not seeing rapid progress, it is easy to lose motivation. Additionally, if you are not constantly engaged in the practice, you are more likely to mentally disconnect from the art and lose interest.
6. **Less Participation in the Dojang family** - Taekwon-Do is also about being part of a community. Attending more often allows students to better integrate with their peers, participate in events, and feel a greater sense of belonging.
7. **Preparation for Tournaments and Exams** - If you are interested in competing or advancing your belt, weekly practice will not be enough to prepare you adequately. You will need more training time to perfect techniques and prepare yourself mentally and physically. For all of these reasons, it is recommended that Taekwon-Do students take classes at least twice a week to gain maximum benefit and make significant progress. Saturdays are perfect for additional and special practices such as exams, tournaments...
